Pamela began her diabetes career at Falkirk Community Hospital in November 1995, marking 30 years of dedicated service this year.
Since moving to FVRH in 2011, Pamela has served as the Inpatient Diabetes Nurse Specialist, earning the trust and admiration of colleagues across the site through her responsive, pragmatic, and compassionate approach to managing inpatient glycaemic care.
Highly respected and exceptionally knowledgeable in all aspects of diabetes, Pamela is a valued and much-loved member of the Diabetes Team. She shares her passion generously with anyone willing to learn.
Over the past year, Pamela has celebrated becoming a grandparent for the first time. Her colleagues have also come to appreciate her fondness for apes – monkeys in particular – and her habit of bursting into spontaneous song to brighten the day.
