Two colleagues past and present have been recognised in this year’s King’s Birthday Honours.
Anne Moylan, a former Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner at Forth Valley Royal Hospital, and Sheila Pheely, a long-standing volunteer in the RVS cafe at Stirling Health and Care Village, have been recognised in the 2026 King’s Birthday Honours.

Anne, who spent 40 years working as a midwife and advanced neonatal nurse practitioner in NHS Forth Valley before moving to teach neonatal nursing full-time at Napier University, was awarded an MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) for services to neonatal practice and education.
Sheila, a familiar face to Stirling staff, patients and visitors, was awarded a British Empire Medal (BEM) for voluntary services. Having volunteered in the RVS cafe since 1992, Sheila, who was originally the cafe manager, has only recently retired from volunteering aged 93.
Huge congratulations to both Anne and Sheila.
