Colleagues from across NHS Forth Valley were proud to take part in Stirling Pride 2026, joining the local community for a day celebrating inclusion, diversity, and connection.
Members of our LGBTQ+ Staff Network were involved throughout the day, including volunteering to help support the event and joining the Pride march through Stirling alongside colleagues from UNISON.
Our Equality, Inclusion and Wellbeing Service also hosted a community engagement and outreach stall. This gave them the opportunity to meet people from across Forth Valley, share information about our services and support, and have lots of great conversations along the way.
Why Pride matters
Pride is a celebration, but it is also an important opportunity to be visible, listen and connect. Taking part allows us to demonstrate our commitment to inclusion not just through words, but by being present alongside the communities we work with and serve.
A huge thank you to everyone who volunteered, marched, supported our stall, stopped by to say hello, or helped make NHS Forth Valley’s involvement possible.
Be part of our LGBTQ+ Staff Network
Our LGBTQ+ Staff Network brings colleagues together to connect, support one another, share experiences and help make NHS Forth Valley a more inclusive place to work.
The network is open to LGBTQ+ colleagues and allies, and new members are always very welcome.
If you’re interested in getting involved, coming along to network activities, or simply staying connected with what’s happening, we’d love to welcome you.
