Congratulations to Community Learning Disability Nurse, Nuala Robinson, who completed the challenging London to Brighton Charity Bike Ride alongside her friend Linda Matthews.
The pair cycled 55 miles in support of Muscular Dystrophy UK (MDUK), a charity that has provided invaluable support to Nuala’s son and family following his diagnosis with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD).
Reflecting on the challenge, Nuala said: “The ride was tough but enjoyable, and we took in the sights of the south of England along the way. We trained hard for the event and were delighted to complete it in under seven hours, which was our target.”
So far, Nuala and Linda have raised an impressive £780 and are hoping to reach their fundraising target of £1,000.
If you would like to support their efforts and help Muscular Dystrophy UK continue its important work, donations can still be made via Nuala’s JustGiving page.
