Throughout this current pandemic the Ophthalmology Department at Falkirk Community Hospital have been truly amazing in giving back to people living with huge challenges in their lives.
To date they have helped the Samaritans and Forth Valley homeless projects and a few weeks ago were asked if they could support Women’s Aid over the festive period. Donations flooded in from both staff and Unison.
Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Angela Dunbar, who works in the Ophthalmology Day Unit, said: “I want to say a big thank you to everyone for their donations. Sometimes we just need to spread a little kindness to others who are coping with challenging and difficult times.”
