Health Record Services recently moved from Falkirk Community Hospital to a refurbished storage facility in Falkirk.
The new location is called Burnbank and is situated in the Burnbank Industrial Estate off the Grahams Road in Bainsford: 11-15 Burnbank Road, Falkirk, FK2 7PE.
A significant amount of the organisation’s paper Health Records, including Acute and Primary Care are now stored and managed on the Burnbank site, and a substantial document scanning service is now operating there.
The main Health Record Services team continues to operate out of the Forth Valley Royal Hospital site and the smaller satellite sites. A number of staff also remain on site in Falkirk Community Hospital to support ophthalmology and pain management services.
Health Record Services management team would like to thank Estates and ICT services for their support and assistance in getting this new facility up and running. Thanks also to our skilled and dedicated Health Records staff for making the physical move of the health records happen.

There will be no change to the transportation of Health Records between sites; pick up and drop off times remain the same. If returning Health Records, please address the box/package to Filing Room Burnbank, including the contact details of the person sending the records.
If sending paperwork to the Scanning Bureau, please address box/package to Scanning Bureau Burnbank including the contact details of the person sending the paperwork. If your service has a prior arrangement for staff to file paperwork in the filing room this arrangement will continue.
