Consultant Anaesthetist, Sri Lakshminarayan, has taken on a new role as Clinical Director for eHealth – one of a number of new Clinical Director posts recently created within the organisation.
Commenting on his recent appointment, Sri Lakshminarayan, said: “I am incredibly proud to work in NHS Forth Valley as a Consultant Anaesthetist and am really delighted to take up this exciting new role as a Clinical Digital and e-Health Lead for Acute Services.
“My key interests are the inpatient electronic health record and the development of our patient portal for effective information sharing.
“The most integral part of my role is to provide clinical leadership and vision to NHS Forth Valley’s digital & eHealth development programme and to demonstrate that it supports and adds value to the quality of care. The challenging part of the job though is to bring different clinical groups and service users together across NHS Forth Valley to create a unified approach to eHealth.
“I am excited about this new role and its challenges, and I look forward to working in close partnership with the various clinical and eHealth teams to support the delivery of our digital priorities in the coming years.”
