After 41 years with the NHS, Helen Berrie has retired from district nursing.
Helen started her nursing career in 1981, working in Edinburgh Royal Infirmary before moving to Stirling Royal Infirmary. She worked there until 1988, when she then attended Glasgow Caledonian University to undertake a District Nursing course.
Helen worked as a district nurse in the Falkirk area for 34 years, firstly at Wallace Medical Practice before leaving for a new adventure at Meeks Road Surgery, where she was based until her recent retirement.
Colleagues say Helen has been an inspiration to colleagues throughout the years and will be sorely missed.
