Ailsa Buchanan, a Catering Assistant at Forth Valley Royal Hospital, recently received a Serco Star Award in recognition of the care and kindness she showed following the death of much loved colleague Adela Fleming.
Ailsa had worked closely with Adela over the last five years and, following her death, she organised a fundraising event with colleagues to raise funds for the Cardiology Ward where Adela was treated.
Chef Janet O’Connor wanted to thank Ailsa for the showing how much the department cared for Adela.
