Patricia Cassidy retired earlier this year after 8 years working with Falkirk Health and Social Care Partnership as Chief Officer and Director of Health and Social Care Services.
Patricia has had a long and distinguished career in various posts, starting her career as a nurse and moving into roles as a specialist lecturer at Glasgow Caledonian University, and a number of national roles with Sports Scotland, the Scottish Consumer Council and the Health Education Board for Scotland, as well as Local Government.
Patricia said: “Thank you for marking my time in Falkirk and Forth Valley with such kind wishes and generosity. I have relished the experience of building the partnership and meeting challenges to deliver our shared vision.
“I wish you all continued success and leave with happy memories. It has been a privilege.”
Gail Woodcock, former Head of Integration for Falkirk Health and Social Care Partnership, has been appointed as the new Chief Officer.
