A Fond Farewell to Kim

Kim Conroy, a District Nurse team leader, retired in January 2021 after a whopping 41 years’ service!

Kim started her nursing career in 1979 as a student nurse in Forth Valley. Her first post was as a staff nurse working in Urology in the former Stirling Royal Infirmary where she worked for 3 years.

She went on to do her District Nurse training in 1985 and her first post as a District Nurse was in Airdrie. However, she returned to NHS Forth Valley in 1990 to work as District Nurse in Clackmannan before moving to Stirling in1994.

She was seconded to Falkirk in 2013 for 2 years as a team part-time Team Leader as well as continuing her role as a District Nurse in Stirling. She became a permanent Team Leader in 2015.

Her hobbies out-with work are holidaying (in particular Caleta de fuste in Fuerteventura) and spending time with her family/friends.

We wish Kim the best of luck and lots of fun in her retirement
