A Keynote Performance

Cabinet Secretary for NHS Recovery, Health and Social Care, Michael Matheson dropped into the atrium at Forth Valley Royal Hospital recently to listen to The Keynotes Choir entertain local patients and staff.  The choir is supported by Key in Falkirk and has proved popular since it formed last year. It is largely made up of adults with learning disabilities and is the result of the isolation and loneliness experienced during the pandemic.

Working with Artlink Central, the choir now have regular slots at the hospital every Friday.  Artlink Central Director, Kevin Harrison, said: “The Keynotes performances help create an inclusive environment which supports connection, empathy and joy, leaving a lasting impression on patients, staff and visitors alike.”

The Keynotes have also delighted audiences in care homes and other community venues across Falkirk and beyond.
