Staff from our Acute Assessment Unit (AAU) and Clinical Assessment Unit (CAU) swapped their scrubs for sports gear as they took on the Pretty Mudder challenge at Strathclyde Park – raising more than £2,000 for Cancer Research UK.
The event, which involves a fun but muddy obstacle course, was suggested as a way of bringing both teams together for some team building. It proved such a success that the group has continued their fundraising efforts and are now preparing to take part in the Kiltwalk.
Those who took part said they were delighted and grateful for the fantastic support they received from friends, family and colleagues, adding “We’re so thankful to everyone who donated – raising over £2,000 is an amazing achievement and we had a brilliant time doing it together”.
