Staff in Ward 1 at Clackmannanshire Community Healthcare Centre have been trying to make their minds up whether a well-manicured hedge reminds them more of a Highland cow or the Gruffalo!
The puzzle in question is centred around a shrub planted nearly 13 years ago by retired occupational therapist Brenda McSporren which has taken on a life of its own.
Recently it was decorated with hanging baskets for eyes, a few flowers for its nose, and dead roots from the garden for its mouth, all of which provided much enjoyment.
Former charge nurse Julie Kennedy, who has recently moved on, took a great deal of pride in the garden hosting garden parties and spending her own time to make sure staff, patients and visitors were welcomed to a happy friendly community hospital.
Colleagues say Julie would have liked this addition to the garden and would approved of seeing her hanging baskets recycled.
