Great fun was had by all at this year’s International Nurses Day which was celebrated in the atrium at Forth Valley Royal Hospital. A performance by the Nurses Choir was followed with some spectacular dancing. Forget the Madison or the Paso Doble, the Slosh was a sight to behold and a video clip of the demonsation was shared on Facebook!
A new mini nurses uniform was also unveiled to promote FutureNurse – a new and innovative project aimed at younger children which will be rolled out in NHS Forth Valley to help promote nursing as a career.
International Nurses Day is celebrated around the world to commemorate the birth of Florence Nightingale.
