A number of staff from across our Women and Children’s Unit received awards in recognition of their outstanding care, commitment and expertise.
Staff also showed they were game for a laugh by dressing up as handmade Christmas Trees – no mean feat for mere mortals!
The Women & Children’s Directorate 2023 Award Winners are:
- Healthcare Support Worker of the Year – Linda Sludden
- Staff Nurse of the Year – Claire Findlay
- Gillian McMillan Inspirational Midwife of the Year – Diane Tavern
Gillian Morton, Director of Women and Children’s Services, said: “It was a great night, and I am incredibly proud of all the nominees and winners. The number of nominations for these awards increased again this year which is good to see and testament to the hard work and expertise of local staff.”
