Deirdre Races to the Finishing Line!

As a keen motorcyclist, it came as no surprise that among the retirement gifts presented to Deirdre Anderson, Head of Service for Emergency Care and Inpatient Services, was a £200 voucher for the Harley Davidson shop.

Deirdre recently retired after nearly 40 years service with the NHS where she had worked in various roles and, according to Director of Acute Services Andrea Fife, was a valued member of the team who will be missed by her many friends and colleagues at NHS Forth Valley.

A specially prepared slide show of memorable moments in Deirdre’s life, drew lots of laughter.

Other gifts which Deirdre received included a Radley handbag, numerous bottles of champagne (her tipple of choice!), a voucher for dinner and champagne at the Dome in Edinburgh, garden centre vouchers and flowers, a voucher for the golf club where she is a member, and some personal gifts from colleagues.
