After an incredible 45 years of dedicated service within NHS Forth Valley, Lynn Allan has announced her plans to retire in December 2025.

Lynn has spent her entire NHS career working in Health Records, becoming a highly respected and familiar face to colleagues across the organisation. Over the decades, she has witnessed huge changes in how records are managed – from paper-based systems to the introduction of digital platforms – Lynn has played a key role in ensuring that patient information is accurate, accessible and secure.

Her knowledge, experience and commitment have made her a trusted source of support and guidance for both long-standing colleagues and new members of staff. Many will remember her for her professionalism, patience and willingness to go the extra mile to keep services running smoothly.

Lynn’s retirement in December will mark the end of an era, but also the start of a well-deserved new chapter. She leaves behind a legacy of dedication and hard work, and her contribution to NHS Forth Valley and Health Records over the past 45 years is something to be immensely proud of.
