NHS Forth Valley recently said goodbye to Glynis Mitchell who has retired after 41 years as a podiatrist. Her first post was with NHS Fife in Anstruther and she then moved to Forth Valley in 1983. Initially she worked across Stirling, Alva and Alloa but her last 32 years were at Camelon clinic in Falkirk, where staff and patients alike will miss her always smiling face.
Glynis is looking forward to spending more time at her caravan at St Andrews and with her two dogs. Due to Covid-19 restrictions a virtual tea was held at Stenhousemuir Health Centre where she was presented with a photo book, containing messages from all her podiatry colleagues, as well as flowers, pink gin, and money to treat herself to something nice.
