Hot on the heels of Vicky Wright who won an Olympic gold for curling, another NHS Forth Valley nurse has triumphed with a Gold in a world class sporting event.
Katrina Robertson, Lead Nurse in Workforce Planning, took part in two events at the World Kettlebell Championships in Portugal. She achieved Gold in the ‘One Arm, Long Cycle with a 16kg kettlebell’ and picked up a silver in ‘Snatch with a 16kg kettlebell.’ This involved lifting the weight for 10 mins non-stop with one arm change at 5 mins!
Kettlebell encompasses Elite, Amateur and Master all with their own body weight categories for each discipline. Katrina competes in the Master Female age 45-54, weight class 75kg+.
