Heather Duncan, a Staff Nurse in the Day Surgery Unit, recently retired after an incredible 51 years service with the NHS.
Heather started work at 16 in dental nursing then did her nurse training, working in A&E at Glasgow Royal Infirmary for many years before coming to Day Surgery.
During the first wave of Covid 19 she volunteered to return to work in the Emergency Department, as elective surgery had significantly reduced.
Her colleagues in Day Surgery want to take this opportunity to mark her long and dedicated nursing career and wish her all the best for the future.
