On air every day, 24 hours a day, Radio Royal returned to its roots when it started broadcasting from its new studios high above the atrium for it was on this site in 1977 that the station hit the airwaves operating from the former Royal Scottish National Hospital.
Patients are able to tune into Radio Royal on their free bedside entertainment systems.
