Inspiring the Next Generation of Healthcare Professionals

Staff from across NHS Forth Valley attended a Healthcare Careers Event for senior secondary pupils at Forth Valley College’s Falkirk Campus.

Nurses, doctors and AHPs were on hand to answer questions from pupils interested in pursuing a career in healthcare. A wide range of engaging demonstrations and interactive activities gave young people the chance to get involved and try out clinical skills simulations for themselves.

The event was a fantastic team effort, bringing together so many enthusiastic and experienced staff in one place. It also provided a valuable opportunity for colleagues to learn more about each other’s services and roles.

Work is already underway to plan next year’s event, which promises to be even bigger and better. If you would like to become an NHS Forth Valley Careers Ambassador or can host a school pupil on a work experience placement please register your interest through this short form.
