In her role as Lead Nurse for the Emergency Department/Minor Injury Unit, Kirsty Meikle is more used to working 12 hr shifts but this is set to change when she takes on the starring role as Dolly Parton in a local production of 9 to 5 the musical.
The production by Falkirk Bohemians will be hitting the stage at Grangemouth Town Hall from 22nd – 26th October 2024 and Kirsty is looking forward to donning the famous wig and perfecting her pout for the role of Doralee Rhodes (aka Dolly Parton).
She explained: “I have been singing, dancing and acting from a young age, starting off in Falkirk Children’s theatre, youth theatre before joining Falkirk Bohemians 17 years ago.
“I also previously appeared on the TV show Stars in their Eyes in 1999 as Louise Redknapp but was sadly beaten by Patsy Cline!”
