It was tough going for a team of four from Ward 2 at Bo’ness Hospital who completed a 26 mile hike from Alwick to Bamburgh Casle in aid of Macmillan.
Lyn Corkish, Nicole Milton, Kasey Saunders and James Riley pushed through in torrential rain with some sunshine alone the way, supporting each other throughout.
This is the third year that the team has completed a 26 mile walk for the charity and, although they found it the most difficult one yet, they also said it was a great achievement and a pleasure to raise money for such an amazing charity.
So far, they have netted an incredible £1,000.
