Two new clinical leads have been appointed for realistic medicine, a local GP and a paediatric consultant.
Dr Martin Norve, GP
“I have been working as a GP Principal for the last 9 years in the Antonine Medical Practice in Bonnybridge.
“I am passionate about building a personalised approach to care which already lies at the heart of general practice, strengthening ties with secondary care colleagues and highlighting shared decision making. I look forward to sharing and promoting the output of local work to practice realistic medicine and the work of others to help spread good care.”
Dr Helen McPherson, Paediatric Consultant
“I am delighted to join the Realistic Medicine team in Forth Valley as Clinical Lead for Secondary Care and look forward to progressing the projects, ideas and innovations which are already in motion.
“I’ve watched the Realistic Medicine movement with interest over the last few years and have become increasingly convinced by the benefits of providing care aligned to its principles. I’m keen to meet with colleagues across Forth Valley to hear about their experiences of Realistic Medicine and would welcome anyone with an interest or ideas to get in touch.”
