Elizabeth Murdoch, Lead Occupational Health Adviser, is one of a number of staff in our Occupational Health Department to gain a prestigious leadership award.
She received the NHS Leadership Academy Award in Senior Healthcare Leadership after completing the Rosalind Franklin Programme over 9 months which consisted of online learning, discussion forums, workshops and a 5,000 word assignment.
Along with two other Occupational Health leaders from NHS Scotland, she also participated in learning and collaborating with colleagues on NHS England’s Growing Occupational Health and Wellbeing Programme. This aims to empower Occupational Health Leaders in the NHS to deliver integrated, strategic and proactive services as well as grow and develop services for the NHS workforce.
In addition, Occupational Health Advisers Susie Jennings, Pamela Scoular and Gillian Mortali were awarded a Certificate in Managing Occupational Health services after completing a three-day course which aims to equip Occupational Health professionals with the tools, knowledge and experience to deliver safe and effective Occupational Health services.
