Congratulations to Peter Moses, a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Forth Valley Royal Hospital, who recently represented Scotland at the Over-60s Cricket World Cup.
Scotland enjoyed a successful tournament, recording impressive victories against the West Indies, Zimbabwe and the USA, ultimately finishing mid-table in a highly competitive international field.
Despite illness forcing him to miss the opening matches, Peter returned to make a significant contribution, scoring a match-winning innings against the West Indies.
Adding to the memorable experience, Peter was praised for his batting performance by Larry Gomes, the former West Indies international cricket star, and had the opportunity to meet him during the tournament.
To cap off the competition, Peter was awarded the Spirit of Cricket Medal, recognising his sportsmanship and commitment throughout the event.
Congratulations on a fantastic achievement and for representing both Scotland and NHS Forth Valley on the world stage.
