A new photography project is underway to help capture NHS staff working in a variety of roles behind the scenes.
Photographer Anne Sproul recently worked with our Clinical Research team and the photos were displayed in the atrium at Forth Valley Royal Hospital to coincide with Red4Research Day. She is hoping to work with other teams and services as part of a larger project if there is more interest.
Anne, a retired clinical scientist who has been living in Plean for 18 years, started her scientific career started in the Beatson Institute for Cancer Research before joining a new research group at Glasgow Royal Infirmary in the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit.
Her 30-year career has given her an insight into the multidisciplinary teams behind each patient’s diagnosis and treatment – recognising that are so many people ‘behind the scenes’ who contribute not only to treatment but also to the comfort and safety of patients undergoing treatment.
