Health Promotion’s Laura Boyle put on her dancing shoes this summer and became Senior British Champion in Highland Dancing. This was Laura’s 5th time winning the title, which she gained at Airth Highland Games.
Laura began dancing in the school playground at the age of six, copying friends who went to dance lessons. She persuaded her Mum to take her to class and has been helping to teach since she was 14 years old. She says she loves to see all the younger dancers trying so hard when they are given corrections.
Her favourite dance is the Reel “because you can swing people around as fast as you want!”
