The Cardiology Ward at Forth Valley Royal Hospital received a fantastic £3,000, thanks to a donation from a local family.
The Ward looked after 17 year old Robbie Williams, who had a life-long heart condition, before he passed away in December 2016. As a way of saying thank you to the staff on the Ward who cared for Robbie, his family decided to host a fundraising event on what would have been his 18th birthday.
The money raised will be spent on the Ward, at the request of Robbie’s parents, Margaret and Alan, and also on new art work to display within each room.
