They may have been relegated from the Scottish Premier League some years ago, but Dunfermline Athletic still have diehard supporters, one of which retired from NHS Forth Valley recently.

After 34 years Deputy Finance Director Simon Dryburgh has said goodbye to spreadsheets and figures, leaving a legacy of collaboration and good financial management.

Simon joined Forth Valley Health Board in 1988 as Assistant Finance Accountant based in Gladstone Place, Stirling, managing expenses and payments and worked across a number of senior roles within finance over that period, including Financial Accountant, Senior Finance Manager, and Assistant Director of Finance.

Most recently Simon led the coordination of funding arrangements to support local Covid- related costs and successfully led a number of strategic finance developments and improvements over recent years.
