A group of local sonographers are completing a 70km charity cycle from Glasgow to Edinburgh to raise money for Maggie’s Forth Valley. Even before the race began they had almost doubled their £700 target.
The were motivated to take part when one of the team was supported by staff from the Maggie’s centre last year when her partner was unwell. He’s now recovering but was very ill, so she wanted to give something back.
The sonographers all work in the maternity ultrasound department in Forth Valley. Their Just Giving page is titled “Clair Callaghan sonographer’s fundraiser for Maggies Centres”
