NHS Forth Valley played host to Violence & Aggression (V&A) advisors from across Scotland at a recent CPD event held at Stirling Health and Care Village. This was the first event of its kind organised by the Violence Reduction Advisors Network, a group made up from all the V&A lead advisors from across NHS Scotland.
There were talks given on alternative injection sites, Stress and Distress Psychological interventions for those living with Dementia and Joint working, as well as workshops covering the soft cuff system and Scenario Driven Training.
The day was well received and was attended by 50 advisors, with plans already in place for a second event to be hosted in Forth Valley some time in 2025.
