Friends and colleagues of Andrene Keith, a Project Officer with the Planning Team who sadly passed away in December 2022, completed the Kiltwalk to raise money for Myeloma UK in her memory.
The team, which included Ann McGregor; Maggie MacKinnon; Laura Crockert; Derek Blues; Claudine Macmurdo and Rhona Blues, walked 20 miles from St Andrews to Dundee and have raised an incredible £1,400.
Laura Crockert, said: “We lost a dear friend, Andrene, to Myeloma and we wanted to do something to help a great cause, dear to her heart, whilst honouring her memory.
“At only 50, Andrene had lots of memories still to make and we hope that our fundraising efforts can help others with the condition find a cure or at least live their best life.
“Granted, a 20-mile hike wouldn’t have been her first choice for an outing, but she certainly knew how to celebrate and we definitely celebrated when we finally reached the end of the walk in Dundee.”
